Keyword Searching
Typically, when you search, you will use keywords.  Simply enter the basic ideas/keywords of your topic in the search box.  The computer will search for books containing those keywords in the title, subjects, and descriptions of the books.

Subject Searching
Subject searching is more powerful than keyword searching.  It allows you to use a specific vocabulary to find books in the catalog.  To find a good subject, look at the display page of a book you already like.  Click on the subject link to run a search

Need More Books?

Get More Books from NOBLE. Don't forget that we are a member of the NOBLE Consortium.  If the book that you want isn't available in our catalog, or if our copy is checked out, expand your search to all libraries in NOBLE.  You can check your account online, and request books and other materials through NOBLE.   You will need a PIN (get this at the CIRC desk) to manage your account.

Walk down to Memorial Hall Library.  Andover's public library, Memorial Hall, is available to you with your PA ID.  The catalog is searchable online.

Still need More? Stop by the Help Desk and one of the Librarians will be happy to help you obtain materials through inter-library loan.
