Bonjour!
Welcome to this guide Ms. Pei, the Instructional Librarian, created especially for you!
Each student will 1)have a narrow topic ;
2)give a 5min presentation in class at the end of the term.
The goals for this project are: 1) learning to deliver an effective presentation to an audience in simple French; 2)learning how to do research on a topic, select information, and organize a presentation; 3) learning about WWII and its impact in France; 4) learning French vocabulary linked to WWII.
This course is intended to further enrich your communicative skills in French. Our primary aims this year are: 1) to deepen your understanding of vocabulary and grammar already learnt, 2) to help you become even more independent in your language studies, 3) to give you a general introduction to French culture and history.
Four key steps of the research process: Get Organized; Gather Information; Use the Information; and Reflect.
Once you get yourself organized, you may start with the Research section of the OWHL.
As always, we are more than happy to help you and work with you if you simply stop by the OWH Library.
