Tickling Our Neurons: Andover Insights

Jonathan Adler '08 works at the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In addition to writing for the show, he also does a reoccurring skit where he pretends to host a podcast with Tariq Trotter, a member of the show's house band, The Roots. At Andover, Jonathan wrote for the "Eighth Page" (previously called Features) and was a part of the improvisation group, Under the Bed. He describes his comedic style as wry, sarcastic, observational, and Jewish.

Cam Mesinger '16 works at the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Cam is an associate producer for the show and has involvement in writing as well. At Andover, emceeing for Grasshopper (Andover's yearly Family Weekend show) helped them try out comedy and changed the trajectory of their career. One of Cam's favorite aspects of comedy is how it serves as "cool social commentary".
